Simone 2.5D action-adventure/colony builder GHOSTLESS premiered a new Beethoven-scored narrative trailer during The MIX Fall Showcase. A release date has yet to be announced.
Set in an alternate 20th century where a Cold War cyber attack inadvertently caused an experimental Soviet AI super-intelligence to turn against humanity, GHOSTLESS puts players in the boots of the Envoy – an investigator sent to infiltrate a facility constructing an artificial secret weapon.
Blending side-scrolling combat, platforming, and base-building mechanics, you scavenge through Cold War bunkers and metro tunnels for resources while recruiting survivors to launch group incursions against machine strongholds. A key survival system centers on paranoia and investigation: you must analyze behaviors and interview recruits to root out Ghostless android infiltrators disguised as humans sabotaging the colony from within.
GHOSTLESS is currently in development for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
