Party-based science-fantasy CRPG Starfinder: Afterlight, developed and published by Epictellers Entertainment, has received a content update for its Steam demo ahead of Steam Next Fest. The company also confirmed that the game’s Early Access launch has been shifted to early 2027 to allow for additional development polish.

Based on Paizo’s tabletop universe and the Starfinder 2e ruleset, Starfinder‘s narrative centers on a crew navigating the Pact Worlds in search of their missing captain as doomsday approaches.
The updated demo introduces new combat options, performance fixes, and a expanded preview that takes players from the spaceship Moon of Misfortune to the Hivemarket district on Akiton. Players can test three character classes – Soldier, Envoy, and Operative – alongside companions Preach and Sterling while fending off cultist threats.
Starfinder: Afterlight launches in Steam Early Access in early 2027 for PC.
