Simone Nine Dots Publishing and developer Nine Dots Studio have announced that open-world survival RPG Outward 2 will enter Early Access for PC on February 8, 2027.
Stripping away chosen-one tropes, Outward 2 drops you into the unforgiving realm of Aurai as an ordinary traveler where survival depends on preparation, tactical foresight, and inventory discipline. Progression is driven by an Exercise system that passively sharpens skills based on actions, complemented by dual-weapon combinations, ritual spellcasting, and dynamic season cycles across four distinct regions. Whether traveling solo or with a companion via split-screen or online co-op, defeat is never game over, forcing you to pick up the pieces and recover lost gear following perilous encounters.
Outward 2 launches in Early Access on February 8, 2027, for PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG.
