Publisher Firenut Games and developer Digital Dreams have released a new gameplay trailer for their upcoming first-person psychological horror title, Baptiste. The game is scheduled to launch this fall on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2.

The story centers on Tom, a traumatized young man who relocates with his mother, Sara, to a cliffside estate named Jagged Shore Cliff following a devastating family tragedy. Seeking a fresh start, their lives quickly spiral into a nightmare when Tom ignores a strict warning and frees an unsettling, possessed doll named Baptiste from a locked glass display cabinet within their new home.
Drawing narrative influence from classic horror lore like Annabelle and Goosebumps, alongside gameplay mechanics reminiscent of P.T. and Layers of Fear, Baptiste avoids heavy reliance on traditional jump scares. Instead, you navigate the ominous halls of the mansion, solving environmental puzzles, uncovering hidden clues, and confronting emotional trauma to survive as the line between reality and hallucination breaks down.
While a release date has yet to be announced, a free demo is currently available on Steam.
