DaRmaZat Publisher Wired Productions has announced a global publishing deal with Thai developer WereBuff Studio for Kumarn: The Wandering Spirit, launching on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store in 2027.
The cinematic horror adventure follows Kumarn, a childlike spirit, and his companion Zeb as they navigate a nightmarish world rooted in Thai folklore after a forbidden ritual tears them from their sacred shrine. Drawing inspiration from atmospheric titles like Little Nightmares, the game combines stealth evasion, environmental puzzles, and tense platforming. Players use a sacred lamp to manipulate light and shadow to outsmart malevolent entities while exploring cursed temples, forests, and abandoned villages. A hands-on demo will be featured at Gamescom inside the Indie Arena Booth.
