The Relic: First Guardian Unleashes Action-Heavy “Meet the Brutals” Boss Trailer

With just two weeks left until its official debut, Project Cloud Games and Perp Games have rolled out a relentless new trailer for The Relic: First Guardian. Titled Meet the Brutals, the latest footage highlights the punishing and aggressive boss encounters awaiting players when the dark-fantasy action RPG launches for PC via Steam and PlayStation 5 on July 31, followed by Xbox Series and Switch 2 later this summer.

In The Relic: First Guardian, players step into the shoes of the last guardian on a desperate quest to restore the once-prosperous land of Arsilthus. Standing in their way are 80 unique, corrupted boss monsters – referred to as Brutals – deeply inspired by traditional Korean folklore and mythology.

Defeating these overwhelming foes will require mastering the game’s fast-paced, real-time combat system. Players can customize their playstyle by hunting down story-rich, one-of-a-kind armor sets and legendary weapons throughout a vast, semi-open world, creating distinct active and passive skill combinations that directly tailor to their tactical flow.

Digital pre-orders are currently live on the PlayStation Store. Players who pick up the title ahead of its July 31 release will secure The Night of Unextinguished Flame day-one bonus bundle.
