A fresh glimpse into Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival‘s underworld has arrived, as developer Boss Team Games and publisher Saber Interactive shared a new, gruesome gameplay trailer. The survival-horror action title is scheduled to launch later this year for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.

The new footage focuses heavily on the Genesis Configuration, a powerful new puzzle box that functions as both a combat weapon and a puzzle-solving tool. Outside of active battles, players manipulate this artifact to transform parts of the Labyrinth, which alters the physical environment to reveal hidden paths and unlock new routes forward.
When facing the armies of Hell, the artifact becomes central to survival. Defeating enemies with brutal executions allows players to harvest Suffering, which charges the unique abilities of the box. These infernal powers include Telekinesis for launching sharp environmental objects like saw blades and rail spikes to dismember targets, Pyrokinesis to burn away obstacles and foes, and the summoning of iconic chains to tear opponents apart.
This dark arsenal is necessary to navigate a terrifying narrative set within the established universe. The story follows a protagonist descending into the depths of the underworld on a mission to rescue a loved one from the Cenobites, fighting off deviant monsters and cultists along the way. While a specific release date has not been finalized, digital wishlists are live alongside pre-orders for two distinct physical collector editions.
