Square Enix and developer Claytechworks have released a “Prologue Demo” for their upcoming HD-2D action RPG, The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales. Available now across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, and PC (via Steam and Microsoft Store), the demo gives players an early taste of the adventure ahead of its full launch on June 18.

In this prologue, you step into the shoes of Elliot as you begin your journey through the world of Philabieldia. The demo covers the opening chapter of the main story while retaining the same freedom of exploration promised in the final release. You can push forward through the narrative, explore uncharted areas, or spend time hunting down new weapons and magicite to customize your build.
Crucially, Square Enix confirmed that all your progress and save data will carry over directly to the full game next month. While the demo serves as a direct slice of the retail build, it does feature some minor differences, including a cap on accessible areas, and linked save data bonuses cannot be redeemed until the final game launches.
The HD-2D action RPG The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales launches on June 18 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store.
