Time To Wake Up, a first-person psychological thriller with surreal school-inspired environments, now offers a playable demo on PC via Steam. The game is slated for release this year.

Developed by Belgian indie studio Eye Blink Twice, the game drops you into a fragmented dreamscape shaped by memories and unresolved past events. As Alan Malone, you find yourself trapped within a distorted version of your own school life, guided only by a mysterious voice that seems fixated on your eyes.
Time To Wake Up‘s gameplay centers on a unique blinking mechanic that lets you directly alter your surroundings; by simply blinking, you can shift perspectives, reset moving objects, and manipulate entire rooms to solve puzzles. As you explore and dodge threats to uncover fragments of Alan’s past, a mysterious guiding voice assists you by actively influencing both the story and the world itself. This mix of environmental manipulation and vocal guidance drives your journey as you struggle to escape the unstable dreamscape.
The setting itself is deliberately unsettling, featuring looping hallways, endless classrooms, and warped spaces such as locker mazes and distorted playgrounds. These environments are populated by eerie figures, including silent classmates whose presence introduces tension and forces careful navigation.
With the demo now available, the experience offers an early look at its atmospheric design, experimental mechanics, and psychological themes.
