Call to Arms, a new limited-time playtest for turn-based strategy game Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era, has been announced, focusing entirely on its ranked multiplayer matchmaking systems.

The closed test is designed to evaluate competitive stability and balance, placing participants in 1v1 online matches across multiple modes. Only ranked matchmaking will be available during this phase, using the same factions featured in the demo, including Temple, Necropolis, Dungeon, and Schism.
Access to this playtest requires signing a non-disclosure agreement, with invitations distributed over time to selected applicants. As a result, all gameplay remains private, and streaming or sharing footage is not permitted. Players who participated in previous tests will need to register again for this phase.
Set in the world of Enroth and introducing the new continent of Jadame, Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era marks a return to the series’ classic turn-based formula while expanding its systems with modern features. Alongside its campaign and sandbox content, multiplayer is positioned as a core component, with this playtest serving as a step toward refining its competitive experience ahead of its planned Early Access release on PC via Steam.
