The kingdom management experience Crown of Greed will launch for PC via Steam on March 31, developer BLUM Entertainment and publishers PlayWay and ConsoleWay have announced. Alongside the standard edition, a Supporter Pack will be available, featuring a digital artbook with in-game artwork, behind-the-scenes materials, expanded lore, and the official soundtrack composed by award-winning Polish composer Ignacy Zalewski.

At launch, the game will feature 12 story-driven campaign missions. Each scenario is comparable in length to the previously released demo mission, with several missions significantly larger in scope. Players will encounter multiple side objectives that can be resolved in different ways, often altering how events unfold within a scenario. The campaign structure is designed with replayability in mind rather than offering a strictly linear progression path. Completing missions across three difficulty levels grants progression points that feed into a broader kingdom development system.
This meta progression layer provides access to an extensive kingdom panel where players can place buildings that permanently unlock new gameplay options. These unlocks include additional hero abilities, new units and structures, and significant enhancements to selected units. The system encourages revisiting missions and gradually conquering the campaign on higher difficulties to fully expand the kingdom’s capabilities.
Narrated by George Ledoux and set in the mystical realm of Rodovia, Crown of Greed centers on indirect control mechanics. Instead of issuing direct commands, players influence autonomous Heroes and NPCs through incentives, contracts, and financial rewards. These characters operate using advanced AI systems and possess randomized traits, meaning each playthrough presents different strategic challenges. A powerful warrior may excel in combat but prove unreliable due to negative personality traits, forcing players to adapt their approach. As progression continues, new hero headquarters become available, unlocking additional spells and abilities.
