The next-generation skateboarding game Skate Style is set to launch in 2026 for PC via Steam. Developed by Zellah Games, the project positions itself as a creativity-focused skating experience, blending physics-driven gameplay with a built-in animation editor designed to give full control over trick style, movement flow, and visual presentation.

At its core, Skate Style is built around the idea that no two tricks should ever look the same. While animations can be finely tuned using the in-game animation editor, all movement remains governed by physics, ensuring responsive control and natural variation. Foot placement, board interaction, timing, and balance are simulated in real time, allowing trick outcomes to evolve organically rather than relying on preset animations.
The game features ultra-detailed environments inspired by real-world skateboarding landmarks, including Barcelona’s historic street spots and Prague’s Stalin Plaza. These locations are recreated with a strong emphasis on authenticity, offering open-ended spaces for lines, technical flatground, and creative experimentation. A full replay and clip editor allows runs to be captured using cinematic camera tools, slow motion, and dynamic angles, making it easy to share clips with the wider community.
Customization plays a central role throughout the experience. Skaters can be shaped in detail through an advanced character editor, with control over facial features, body proportions, clothing, hair, and board setups. Mod support and replay sharing are planned as foundational systems rather than post-launch extras, reinforcing Skate Style’s ambition to function as a long-term creative platform rather than a static release.
Visually, Skate Style aims to balance realism and artistic presentation. High-end systems benefit from advanced lighting and ray tracing features, while scalability ensures smooth performance on lower-end hardware, including portable PC devices, without sacrificing responsiveness or control.
