The VR action-adventure game Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Empire City is set to release in Spring 2026 for Meta Quest, PC via Steam VR, and Pico, as Cortopia Studios and publisher Beyond Frames Entertainment have confirmed alongside the first detailed look at the game’s cooperative gameplay. Pre-orders are available now on Meta Quest, launching with a limited 20 percent discount ahead of release.

Designed as the first full Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles experience built specifically for virtual reality, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Empire City places a strong emphasis on physical presence, traversal, and close-quarters combat. The newly released video highlights cooperative gameplay for up to four participants, with solo play also supported. Rather than relying on rigid class roles, the experience allows sessions to be shaped through chosen gear, builds, and combat approaches, allowing the four Turtles to function dynamically depending on loadouts and playstyle.
The development team has positioned co-op as a core pillar of the experience, focusing on fluid teamwork during combat and traversal through Empire City’s environments. Balancing updates and movement refinements are also underway, with further details shared through a developer diary published on the Cortopia Studios blog.
Ahead of launch, a limited hands-on opportunity is planned during Steam Next Fest. A time-limited single-player demo arrives on February 23, offering approximately the first 15 minutes of gameplay and a brief introduction to each playable Turtle. The demo will remain available until March 2 as part of the event.
As production enters its final stages, the project is also being supported by contributions from artists with a history in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comics. Illustrator Fero Pe, known for work across IDW’s TMNT series and major crossover projects, is contributing new original artwork inspired by themes of brotherhood and cooperation that align closely with the game’s design philosophy.
