The football game eFootball Kick-Off! has been announced for Nintendo Switch 2 and is set to launch digitally this summer. Published and developed by Konami, this new entry marks the first time the eFootball franchise makes its way onto a Nintendo platform, reintroducing the long-running series in a form designed specifically for portable and flexible play.
Update – March 4, 2026: eFootball Kick-Off! will launch on June 3, 2026, KONAMI announced.

Reimagined from the legacy of the PES series, eFootball Kick-Off! is built around fast, accessible matches that can be enjoyed solo or with others, both offline and online. Players can take control of club and national teams from around the world, featuring well-known stars and legendary figures from football history, while the streamlined structure makes it easy to jump into matches anytime and anywhere.
Several modes cater to different playstyles. World Tour allows players to create and grow their own club by competing in global tournaments, earning new players through victories or in-game currency. Competitive progression is supported by a ranking system that gradually evaluates performance, helping newcomers develop their skills naturally while still rewarding tactical play. Local wireless matches and online competitions offer flexible multiplayer options, whether playing casually with friends or testing abilities against opponents worldwide.
The release window is timed to align with this summer’s major international football tournament in North America, placing players in the middle of the sport’s biggest global moments. An International Cup mode, centered on national team competition, is planned as post-launch downloadable content, further expanding the game’s scope after release. Designed exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2, the game emphasizes responsive controls and pick-up-and-play pacing while maintaining the strategic depth expected from the franchise.
