The cross-platform multiplayer social deduction game Meowstery Wisp is set to launch in Q2 2026 on PC via Steam, developer and publisher DMT GAMES has confirmed. An announcement trailer for Meowstery Wisp was recently shared, offering an early look at its tone and mechanics.

Designed for groups of five to eleven players, Meowstery Wisp puts a fresh spin on the genre by removing traditional player elimination in favor of investigation, exploration, and collective decision-making that builds toward a single decisive finale.
Rather than voting players out mid-match, the game centers its tension around hidden roles, shifting trust, and time pressure. Across five rounds, players explore detailed environments to uncover clues, earn Insight points, and discover special powers while searching for five key artifacts needed to unlock the final phase. Among the group are spies working in secret to sabotage progress, as well as an occultist pursuing a hidden agenda that may only become clear near the end of the match.
Movement and observation play a central role in Meowstery Wisp, encouraging players to read behavior as much as evidence. Actions taken across the map subtly influence a shared clock, which advances through both obvious and hidden triggers. This creates mounting pressure as the match unfolds, particularly as spies are adept at accelerating the countdown without drawing attention to themselves.
Customization and social interaction are key pillars of the experience as well. Players can personalize their own cat detectives, communicate through proximity voice chat, and take part in an exploration-and-analysis loop supported by mini-games. With cross-platform play, diverse maps, and no elimination until the final phase, Meowstery Wisp aims to emphasize sustained social dynamics rather than early exits.
