DaRmaZat Konami and ZeDrimeTim have announced that Darwin’s Paradox!, the hand-crafted action adventure platformer starring a remarkably intelligent octopus, has been delayed from its previously planned 2025 release window to 2026. The game will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam. The newly confirmed Switch 2 version replaces the originally announced Switch release, which is no longer planned.
In Darwin’s Paradox!, players follow the story of Darwin, a clever young octopus ripped from the ocean and trapped inside a sprawling industrial complex filled with danger and mystery. Combining platforming, adventure, and puzzle-solving, the game challenges players to outsmart traps, machines, and bizarre creatures using Darwin’s natural talents—including swimming, camouflage, and adaptive intelligence.
The narrative begins in the tranquil depths of the ocean before Darwin is pulled toward the surface by a mysterious light.
