DaRmaZat THQ Nordic and Three Fields Entertainment have unveiled a new Explanation Trailer for Wreckreation, the ultimate open-world arcade racing sandbox, set to release on October 28, 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
Developed by the veteran UK-based team behind the Burnout series, Wreckreation offers a unique fusion of high-speed racing, open-world exploration, and creative freedom. Players are handed the keys to “World,” a sprawling 400-square-kilometer playground where they can build, race, and wreck alone or online with friends. Using the Live Mix system, every element—from jumps and loops to weather, time of day, and traffic—can be changed instantly, turning the world into a dynamic and ever-evolving racing experience.
Customization sits at the core of Wreckreation, with more than 50 vehicles available to modify from the start. Players can fine-tune paint jobs, boost effects, engine sounds, and more to craft their perfect ride. The game’s eight record categories, including Drift, Stunt, and Air, encourage creativity and chaos in equal measure, ensuring every race feels fresh.
