DaRmaZat THQ Nordic and DigixArt have released a free demo for Tides of Tomorrow, the narrative-driven adventure from the team behind Road 96. Available now on Steam, the trial offers players their first taste of life as a Tidewalker on the oceanic planet of Elynd.
The demo introduces Marketland, one of the opening locations from the full game, where players must infiltrate the territory of Obin, a feared marauder, in pursuit of stolen medicine. But the island won’t look the same for everyone—its people, atmosphere, and challenges shift depending on the decisions made by another player you choose to follow. Whether it’s a friend, a streamer, or a premade profile offline, each run of the demo reshapes the world with fresh consequences.
Choices ripple across encounters that can unfold as stealth sections, tense chases, moments of persuasion, or investigative dialogue. With replayability baked in, players are encouraged to experience the demo multiple times to uncover different perspectives and branching outcomes.
Tides of Tomorrow takes place after the Great Flood left Elynd scattered with floating settlements, where a new threat—the plastification plague—endangers what remains of civilization. The full game is set to launch February 24, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam.
