Narrative-driven first-person adventure INDUSTRIA 2 has entered a public playtest on PC via Steam. Players can opt in directly on the store page for instant access. The playtest will run until October 3 at 4:00 p.m. CEST and offers a first look at one of the game’s early levels.
Update October 3, 2025: Bleakmill has confirmed that the open INDUSTRIA 2 playtest has been extended through Monday, October 6 at 8 AM PDT/5 PM CEST!

The playable section takes place in the Cannery, where protagonist Nora teams up with a new companion while navigating a derelict industrial complex. Players can experiment with three different weapons, craft tools like pipebombs and firebombs, and test an upgrade station while facing three enemy types. Both Ray Tracing (DX12) and Performance Mode (DX11) are available, with full graphical settings to tweak performance. A short feedback survey will appear at the end of the demo to collect player impressions.
Set years after the events of the original game, INDUSTRIA 2 follows Nora as she struggles to survive in a parallel dimension overtaken by ATLAS, a sentient AI. The experience blends immersive exploration with atmospheric combat, featuring physics-based interactions, a diegetic inventory, and upgradable weapons powered by Unreal Engine 5. The Cannery is one of several layered environments combining industrial decay with overgrown nature, where players will scavenge, solve puzzles, and confront disturbing foes such as the Surger.
INDUSTRIA 2 is currently in development and is expected to launch as a tightly paced 4–6 hour experience on PC.
