DaRmaZat 007 First Light, the new espionage adventure from IO Interactive, will launch on March 27, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
The game will be available in multiple editions. A Standard Edition includes the base game and pre-order bonuses such as early access and a Deluxe upgrade. The digital-only Deluxe Edition expands on this with additional outfits and gadget skins, while the Specialist Edition—exclusive to Amazon—offers a physical version complete with a classic tuxedo skin. A Legacy Edition will also be released, featuring premium collectibles such as a steel case, Golden Gun figurine, and exclusive in-game cosmetics.
In a press release, IO Interactive CEO Hakan Abrak described the project as “a wholly original James Bond experience,” blending espionage, stealth, and cinematic action. The game tells the origin story of a young, reckless James Bond as he transitions from Naval air crewman to MI6 recruit. When a mission against a rogue agent takes a tragic turn, Bond and his reluctant mentor Greenway must unravel a conspiracy and stop a coup from within.
Gameplay combines stealth, improvisation, and action in a way that builds on IO Interactive’s immersive design philosophy. Players can infiltrate quietly with gadgets, use firepower and vehicles, or even rely on charm to slip past guards, all while exploring striking international locations. Replayability is encouraged through mission modifiers, allowing players to revisit and experiment with their approach across different scenarios.
