Early Access approaches as Tactical Adventures shares new gameplay details
Tactical Adventures has released Dev Update #16 for Solasta II, offering a closer look at new spells, gameplay mechanics, and upcoming features as the game prepares for its Early Access release on PC via Steam. A release date has not yet been announced.

The update showcases the return of Annoying Bees, a fan-favorite homebrew cantrip that now fully swarms enemies for a round, disrupting spellcasters by forcing Concentration saving throw disadvantages. Divine casters also receive a new option in Holy Conduit, a melee radiant spell that detonates for area damage. The developers also explained the need for homebrew spells stems from limited SRD cantrip options, while still aiming to stay faithful to the 5e ruleset.
Other highlights include:
- Community Stream #12 on September 5, featuring The Temple of Elemental Evil Part 2, before streams return to Solasta II content, via tacticaladventures (Twitch) and https://www.youtube.com/@TacticalAdventures/streams (YouTube)
- A first look at random encounter maps across Neokos, introducing unpredictable events while traveling.
- New armor and shield designs, plus improved spellcasting incantations and proper Game Over mechanics.
About Solasta II
Set in the Mana-infused lands of Neokos, players will lead a party of four adventurers against the rising threat of the enigmatic Shadwyn. Building upon the foundations of Solasta: Crown of the Magister, the sequel once again delivers tactical, party-based RPG combat rooted in the world’s most popular TTRPG ruleset.
Key features include free exploration across Neokos’ regions, party customization, dice-driven decision-making, and faithful turn-based mechanics such as spell preparation, sneak attacks, and smites. Tactical Adventures emphasizes that “you make the choices, dice decide your destiny.”
