Konami has announced that Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater will receive its previously revealed “Fox Hunt” online battle mode later this fall. The mode will not be available at the game’s August 28 launch.

Described as a completely original online experience, “Fox Hunt” blends the camouflage and survival mechanics of the main game with a tense, hide-and-seek-inspired format. The mode builds upon the classic “Sneaking” rule from Metal Gear Online, combining stealth-driven gameplay with modern graphical upgrades to heighten the suspense.
Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater launches August 28 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam, with pre-orders open now. Standard and Digital Deluxe editions are available, the latter offering early access from August 26 and a collection of bonus outfits, masks, and other in-game items. The game is a full remake of the 2004 classic Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, retaining its story and characters while adding modern visuals, upgraded audio, and both new and classic control options.
