DaRmaZat Arc Games has confirmed that Frosthaven, the tactical RPG adaptation of the acclaimed board game, will enter Early Access on July 31 via Steam and the Epic Games Store for $39.99/€38.99/£33.50.
Developed by Snapshot Games with Isaac Childres (creator of the original board game) as consultant, Frosthaven brings its signature blend of deep tactics and grim fantasy into the digital realm. Players can tackle missions solo or in online co-op, managing a team of uniquely skilled heroes while expanding their northern outpost.
At launch, Early Access includes:
- Single-player and online multiplayer
- GeForce NOW support
- 8 playable characters (6 starters, 2 unlockables)
- 40+ tactical missions and 100+ narrative events
- Base-building systems tied to game progression
Players will get access to roughly one-third of the full game, with major updates planned every few months based on community feedback.
A Frosthaven x Gloomhaven Digital Bundle will also be available at launch, offering both adaptations together. Additionally, the game will be playable at Gen Con 2025 (July 31 – August 3) at the Cephalofair and Forteller booths, where attendees can try an exclusive demo and pick up limited Frosthaven swag.
