DaRmaZat Developer VARSAV Game Studios has announced that fast-paced action-platformer Barkour will launch in Q4 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. A major updated version of the playable PC demo is scheduled to release next week during Gamescom 2026.
Players take control of Agent T.H.U.N.D.E.R., a skilled canine secret agent equipped with high-tech spy gadgets and parkour abilities. The globe-trotting stealth-action adventure combines wall-running, rail-grinding, and grappling traversal across semi-open, multi-route environments filled with hidden paths and collectibles.
Barkour’s gameplay design allows for multiple tactical approaches, enabling players to choose between ghosting past enemies unnoticed using high-tech tools or engaging directly in chaotic combat. Metroidvania-style elements encourage backtracking to earlier levels once new gadgets and abilities are unlocked to access previously unreachable areas.
