DaRmaZat Developer S-GAME has released a dedicated State of Play gameplay trailer for dark Wuxia action RPG Phantom Blade Zero, breaking down combat customisation, difficulty settings, and creative input from martial arts legend Donnie Yen.
The new trailer showcases protagonist Soul navigating the Wulin, where side quests open branching story paths and reveal hidden lore. Players can wield over 30 main weapons and 25 Phantom Edge secondary weapons, backed by a refund system that lets you reforge upgraded gear to reallocate materials freely.
The footage also details three difficulty settings – Wayfarer mode for story-focused play, Hellwalker mode for adaptive enemy AI, and the high-difficulty Sixty-Six Days mode – alongside Donnie Yen’s motion-capture performance and martial arts choreography as key character Mó Yuan.
Phantom Blade Zero launches October 29, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
